If you are a student who has just been admitted to UC San Diego and to John Muir College, congratulations and welcome!
We hope that you’ll decide to join us in the Fall. UCSD offers you the exciting opportunities of a great research university and the supportive and friendly environment of a small liberal arts college. At UCSD, you’ll study with world-class faculty who work at the cutting edge in their fields, whether it’s in the sciences, arts, humanities, engineering, or social sciences.
As a Muir student, you’ll have the flexibility to design a general education program that’s best suited to your individual goals, interests, and talents. You’ll also be part of a strong community of students who are active, involved, and have fun at the same time as they’re making the most of UCSD’s academic challenges.
