Muir College Commencement 2010
RIMAC Field, UC San Diego |
So that UC San Diego students may invite as many family members and friends as they wish, college commencement ceremonies are held outdoors on the RIMAC field. June weather in San Diego is usually pleasant, but heat waves can occur. Limited shaded seating for guests is available; however, most seats will be in the sun. We encourage you to bring a hat, sunscreen, and water so that you will be as comfortable as possible in case we have an unusually warm day. Muir Colleges ceremony normally takes approximately two hours.
The John Muir College Commencement is a festive event that will draw over 9,000 cheerful graduates, friends and family to celebrate our students' accomplishments.
This website is brimming with graduation details - please read it carefully, and save it for reference as the commencement date nears. Any updates or changes to Muir Commencement plans will be posted here. For additional questions, please contact the Dean of Student Affairs Office at (858) 534-3587 or muirdeansoffice@ucsd.edu.
