Budget cuts are putting the quality of UC’s teaching and research at risk. Over the past few years, state funds for UC have declined steadily while student enrollments have increased. We need your support. Help us convince legislators in Sacramento and Washington, D.C., to stabilize public funding to the University.
The Parents Fund at UC San Diego supports a host of activities at John Muir College that enrich and broaden the basic educational program. Among other projects, the Parents Fund makes possible the Muir Musical, Muir Movie, and Muirstock music festival, subsidized wilderness experiences and tickets to cultural events, and the ever-popular Burnout Center, which provides students with an all-night place to go during final exams week for snacks, games, and letting off some steam.
Muir students and staff deeply appreciate all gifts, large or small.
