The Academic Advising Office is responsible for advising all new and continuing students about college general education and graduation requirements. Advisors provide academic and curricular information, clarify academic regulations, review all aspects of academic probation, offer advice about progress toward the degree, and generally facilitate your adjustment to the university.

Advisors are available to counsel you about educational alternatives, selection of courses and majors, program changes, new academic opportunities, and special programs. Information regarding Muir's Special Project major, the Caledonian Honor Society, and the Muir College - Dartmouth College Exchange Program is available through this office. You are strongly encouraged to come to us with any questions relating to your academic life at John Muir College.
