HOW TO FORMAT PAPERS: download
the PDF | download the Word doc
The document available for download here describes and
displays the visual format that is to be used when
submitting your papers in Muir Writing classes (and
also for most other courses you'll take at the
university). In general - but not exactly - it follows
the "MLA" (Modern Language Association) style. If you
use MSWord as your word processor, the easiest way to
conform to this format is to download the MSWord
version of the file and begin using it; otherwise,
print the PDF version and make sure to make your word processor's output conforms to its layout.
There is further information about proper citation
format on pages A85 and A86 in the Muir 40 Reader
(Spring & WINTER 2006, Winter 3006 edition), which you
should also review.
