Dear Muir 50 Students,
During Spring quarter 2005, the Academic Senate will be conducting a study of the six college writing programs at UCSD. Please understand that this review is separate from your evaluation in the course and has no bearing whatsoever on your grade in the writing program. The review committee will select students at random from each college and review all the Winter and Spring quarter writing assignments they turned in.
If yours is one of the names randomly selected, be assured that your work is not being re-graded, and that your name, student identification number and grades will be removed from all of your writing assignments before they are reviewed and will never be made public.
The faculty of UCSD thank you for your assistance in this review process.
*For more detailed information review the letter distributed in your class.
ONLY Muir 50 students need to submit their papers to WebCT!
