Since the printing of the handbook, several laws of the State of California have changed, requiring modification to some of the policies in this handbook.

On January 1, 2004, California State Law changed to prohibit smoking within 20 feet from any entrance, window, or vent of a building. In accordance, the policy on page 27 of the handbook has been changed to accommodate.
